Twitter, the internets greatest invention?

The question I am sure you would be asking if you'd had the misfortune of stumbling upon my blog is: "Why have you started a blog? Isn't Twitter the big new thing?".

Initially it seems a logical and valid point, Twitter's micro-blogging is meant to have killed off the traditional blog for good! I however intend to show you how twitter is one of the most useless, annoying and pointless inventions the internet has seen!

So to sum it all up, and actualy answer the question I posed, (is) Twitter, the internets greatest invention? I think the answeer here is going to have to be a no.
